What is the raffle picker?
The raffle picker is a free online spinner loaded with 8 starter entries, such as Ticket 001, Ticket 002, Ticket 003, Ticket 004. You can change every slice, add your own items, set odds and keep a record of each result. People also search for it as “raffle picker wheel”, “raffle generator”, “online raffle draw”.
The appeal is visibility. Nobody has to trust a hidden algorithm, because the options and the spin are right there for the whole group.

Tips for the raffle picker
- Give people with several tickets a higher weight instead of listing them many times.
- Use Remove Duplicates if entries came from a form.
- Download the JSON receipt as a draw record.
Running a raffle with a wheel
Number or name each ticket, paste one ticket per line and spin on a big screen. The wheel replaces the traditional hat or drum, with two advantages: everyone can see every ticket is included, and nobody can be accused of feeling for a particular stub. For school fairs, club nights, charity events and office fundraisers, it makes the draw faster and more transparent.
Ticket numbers or names?
Ticket numbers protect privacy and mirror paper raffles: "Ticket 047 wins the hamper". Keep a separate list matching numbers to buyers. Names are friendlier for small groups where everyone knows each other. If someone bought several tickets, you can enter each ticket separately or enter their name once with a weight equal to the number of tickets. Weights keep the wheel tidy and show each person's percentage chance.
Generating ticket lists quickly
For numbered tickets, use the random number generator page or a spreadsheet to create a list from 001 to your last ticket, then paste it in. Keep leading zeros consistent so tickets sort neatly. If tickets were sold in books, remove numbers that weren't sold before the draw, so unsold tickets can't win.
Prize order and multiple draws
Most raffles have several prizes. Turn on automatic removal so a ticket can't win twice, and decide whether you draw the top prize first or last. Drawing the smallest prizes first keeps the crowd engaged until the end. Read each winning number twice and ask the winner to show their ticket before handing over the prize.
Fundraising tips
Display the total number of tickets sold on screen; it encourages people and shows the draw is complete. Run the draw at a set time that was advertised in advance. Record the draw on a phone for people who couldn't attend, and post the winning numbers afterwards. Check local rules on raffles and lotteries, since some places require registration or limit prize types, especially for public sales.
Unclaimed prizes
Decide beforehand what happens if a winner isn't present: hold the prize for a set number of days, or redraw immediately. Announce the rule before you start. If you redraw, do it from the remaining tickets in front of the audience.
Keeping a record
Export the history after the draw and save a receipt. Together with your list of ticket buyers, they show who won what and when, which is useful for charity accounts and for answering questions later.
Example: a school fair raffle
A parents' association sells 320 tickets numbered 001 to 320 for eight prizes. After the fair, they paste the numbers, remove 14 unsold tickets and turn on automatic removal. On the school hall projector, they draw from the smallest prize up to the grand prize, reading each number twice. The history is exported for the treasurer, and the winning numbers go in the school newsletter for anyone who left early.
Because the draw was public and the unsold numbers were removed on screen, nobody can suggest that a ticket was missing.

Odds on the raffle picker
