What is the prize wheel?
The prize wheel is a free online spinner loaded with 6 starter entries, such as Sweets, Sticker, Mystery gift, Spin again. You can change every slice, add your own items, set odds and keep a record of each result. People also search for it as “birthday prize wheel”, “prize spinner”.
A hidden random generator only gives you an answer. This wheel shows every option and the spin itself, so the group can see nobody picked the result by hand.

Prize wheels for parties
A prize wheel turns any birthday party into an event. Guests spin to win sweets, stickers, small toys, mystery gifts or a big prize. Children love the suspense of watching it slow down, and parents love that it's simple to set up. Spin after games, as party favours on the way out, or as a reward for winning a round.
Prize ideas for children
Sweets or chocolate, stickers, bubbles, glow sticks, temporary tattoos, bouncy balls, mini puzzles, colouring books, crayons, hair clips, small cars, slime, playing cards, a "choose the next song" pass, and an extra slice of cake. A "spin again" slice adds excitement. One big prize, such as a larger toy or book, at a low weight gives everyone something to hope for.
Making it fair for all guests
Every child should leave with something. Give every slice a small prize, and make "spin again" the only non-prize slice. Use weights so common prizes come up often and the big prize is rare. Check the percentages so you don't run out of a popular prize. If you have limited quantities of something, turn on removal so the slice disappears once it's been won.
Adult birthday and office celebrations
For adult parties, prizes might include a drink voucher, choosing the next playlist, a funny hat, a small gift card or "make a toast". At work, a birthday prize wheel can give the birthday person a perk: leave an hour early, skip a meeting, or choose the team lunch. Keep it inclusive and in line with workplace rules.
Party game combinations
Pass the parcel winner spins. Musical chairs winner spins. Quiz rounds: the top scorer spins. Treasure hunt: each clue found earns a spin. Birthday trivia about the guest of honour, where each correct answer earns a spin.
Personalising the wheel
Add the birthday person's photo to the centre, use their favourite colours, and include prizes linked to their interests, such as dinosaur stickers for a dinosaur fan. Turn on confetti and a fanfare for maximum celebration.
Fundraisers and fairs
Prize wheels are popular at school fairs and charity events: pay a small amount to spin for donated prizes. Display the odds clearly and check local rules on games of chance where money is involved.
Practical tips
Prepare prizes in labelled bags matching each slice. Test the wheel on the device you'll use, ideally a tablet or TV that guests can see clearly. Assign an adult to hand out prizes so the spinning stays quick.
Example
At a seventh birthday party, twelve children each spin twice. Every slice has a small prize, and one child wins the giant bubble wand to cheers from the whole room.
Allergies and age-appropriate prizes
Check guests' allergies before choosing sweets, and offer non-food alternatives. Avoid small items that could be a choking hazard for children under three.
Theme ideas
Superhero party: badges, masks, comics and a "hero of the day" crown. Unicorn party: glitter stickers, hair ribbons, rainbow pencils. Space party: glow-in-the-dark stars, rocket balloons, astronaut ice cream. Match the prizes to the party theme, add picture slices, and the wheel becomes part of the decoration.
Keep a few spare prizes in a bag for latecomers, so nobody misses out on a spin.

Odds on the prize wheel
