What is the NFL team wheel?
The NFL team wheel is a free online spinner loaded with 32 starter entries, such as Buffalo Bills, Miami Dolphins, New England Patriots, New York Jets. You can change every slice, add your own items, set odds and keep a record of each result. People also search for it as “random NFL team generator”, “spin the wheel NFL teams”, “NFL team picker”.
Because every slice is on screen and the spin plays out in front of everyone, the result feels fair. That matters when people care about the outcome.

Tips for the NFL team wheel
- Use elimination so each team goes to one person.
- Filter by conference for playoff pools.
- Save a division wheel for rivalry games.
Using the conference and division filters
The buttons above the wheel reload it with a subset of teams. "All" gives all 32 franchises. "AFC" and "NFC" give the 16 teams in each conference. The division buttons, AFC East, North, South and West and NFC East, North, South and West, load just four teams each. The wheel updates immediately, and you can still edit the list by hand: remove your own team, add a team twice to give it more weight, or delete teams already used in your game. Only team names are shown. There are no logos, as team marks belong to the league and the clubs.
Picking teams for office pools and survivor leagues
In a survivor pool, each player picks one team to win each week and can't reuse a team. If your group wants a random twist, spin a team for each player each week and turn on elimination so a team can't be drawn twice for the same person. For office pools that assign teams to people for the whole season, spin all 32 names with elimination; with 16 people, each gets two teams, and with 32, each gets one. Record the results in the history and screenshot them for the group chat.
Super Bowl party games
Super Bowl squares need random numbers, not teams, so use the number wheel set to 0–9 for the rows and columns. The team wheel helps with other games: spin a team for each guest to "support" for the night, spin a conference-themed snack (Buffalo wings for the AFC, Philly cheesesteak bites for the NFC) or spin for prop-bet questions such as first score, coin toss result or longest field goal.
Video game franchise and draft modes
Players of American football video games often want a random team for franchise mode, a new challenge or a tournament with friends. Spin a team and commit to rebuilding it. For a harder challenge, filter by a division and spin your team's toughest rival. In online leagues, spin team assignments live on a stream so viewers can see they were fair.
Learning the league
New fans can use the wheel to learn teams and divisions. Spin a team, then look up its city, stadium and division rivals. Teachers can use it for geography lessons: spin a team and find its state on a map. Kids can spin a team to follow for a season and learn the basics as they watch.
Fair and random
Every spin uses the browser's cryptographic random generator, so each team on the wheel has an equal chance unless you add weights. The randomness audit page lets you test this yourself by simulating thousands of spins.
Example
A family of six spins teams before Week 1. Each person follows their team all season, with a small prize for whoever's team has the best record. The youngest drew a team with a poor history and became its loudest fan.

Odds on the NFL team wheel
