WheelSpinner Editorial Team

The small independent team that builds WheelSpinner's tools and writes and tests every guide, wheel and policy on the site.

About the WheelSpinner Editorial Team

The WheelSpinner Editorial Team is the small, independent team that builds WheelSpinner and writes everything published on it: the tool pages, ready-made wheels, blog guides, translations and policies. We publish under a team name rather than individual bylines. Every page is the shared responsibility of the team, and corrections go to one place: info@wheelspinner.pro.

What we do

We design, build and maintain the spin wheel and every random tool on the site, from the coin flip and dice roller to the team generator, bingo caller and Secret Santa generator. We write the guides that explain how to use them in classrooms, offices, live streams, giveaways and at home, and we keep the factual wheels, such as sports teams, US states and countries, up to date.

How we test what we write

We do not publish a guide until we have followed its steps on the live tool, on desktop and mobile. Claims about fairness are checked with the public Randomness Audit tool, which runs thousands of simulated spins and compares the results with the expected odds. Accessibility features are tested with keyboard-only navigation and automated checks, and layouts are tested on screens from 320 pixels wide upward. When a tool changes, we review the guides that mention it and update the date at the bottom of each page.

Our experience

The team has worked with the situations the tools are designed for: projecting a wheel at the front of a classroom, running a transparent prize draw for an audience, splitting groups into fair teams, and adding a wheel overlay to a live stream. Many features exist because of these real-world problems, such as elimination mode for turn-taking, receipts and CSV exports for giveaways, keep-apart rules for team generation, and private reveal links for Secret Santa. We do not claim professional qualifications in law, education or finance, and our guides say so when a topic needs professional advice.

Standards we follow

Our Editorial Policy sets out how we research, test and correct content, and how we keep advertising separate from editorial decisions. Our Randomness and Fairness page explains exactly how results are chosen. Our Community Guidelines and Responsible Giveaway Guidelines describe how we expect the tools to be used. Translated pages are localised by the team and kept out of search engines until they are detailed enough to be useful.

Independence

WheelSpinner is not affiliated with any other spin-the-wheel website, sports league, team or brand named on the site. Advertisers, when ads are enabled, will have no influence on our content or on how any tool picks a result.
